Internationally Trained Professionals

Are you a healthcare professional trained outside of the US?
We can help you continue your career in the US!

The program is designed to support internationally trained healthcare professionals (ITPs) in reentering the U.S. healthcare workforce by addressing the unique barriers they face, including language gaps, credential recognition, and unfamiliarity with U.S. systems.

About

This program prepares you for one of two certifications:

Community Health Worker (CHW)

CHWs help people get access to healthcare, connect families to services, share health information, and support community well-being. Because they understand the language and culture of the people they serve, CHWs help make healthcare easier and more welcoming.

National Medical Interpreter

Medical interpreters help doctors and patients communicate clearly. They translate conversations in real time, so patients understand their care and healthcare workers understand their needs. This makes health care safe, respectful, and accurate for everyone.
